Life's like this

I have been having chimerical thoughts lately. Like why this and why that, how would I modify my suroundings so that it fits what I want, and of course what lies ahead in that unfamiliar stretch of mine. Every now and then, I flip through newspapers and magazines and there pop out an advertisement about that certain educational institute. And I thought, "Okay! This might be a good one or at least this is what the newspaper said about it." As I was flipping through it, there comes another advertisement again. This time about another educational institute, of how great it is and where its strength lies in. It flashed through my mind, "I should consider bout this one too." But when I finished flipping through the whole copy of newspaper, there was like more than 10 of them publishing their programmes, courses and not to forget boasting about how they have the greatest courses on board.

And this comes to my mind. "If all them in the world are like saying how good they really are, then where did all the bad ones or I should say a level lower than those top ones go?"

Ah Ah Ah!!! Why should bother so much at this moment I don't know. Maybe I have this sudden aura surrounding me, lighting up the fire in me. But seriously, I have some homework to get done. Daddy requested that I've to hand in the top courses in my list which I am going to pursue after my diploma in RP before my birthday.
But there's no certainties about those courses right. Something might come in my way, and I might change again.

I may meet a guy halfway through to get me married straightaway! Hahahaha. Joking that is ;D

But one thing I am sure of.

That unfamiliar stretch, would be haunted by bad press and purportedly teeming with evil. That's what everyone has to go through.

Meanwhile, I have another question inside:
If all in the world are in debt, where did all the money go?

Earth Hour-s

I think back in my hometown here, we do have constant Earth Hours or least more than any other cities. We supported Earth Hour Saturday night. Everything is off, well except the tv, the fan and a tiny winy little lamp which wouldn't be obviously seen from far. I couldn't figure out what to do during that hour and that led me to keeping my tv on. And right on the next day, there's this same activity again, but this time more Earth Hours. We had a blackout for around two to three hours in the morning and this time, everything is off because nothing can practically be switched on. The electricity is cut off again without any reasons.

The same thing happened when I was at the Salon the other day. There was a blackout while I was sitting there, having people doing my hair. The hair dryer was blowing dry my hair and suddenly 'pop,' the sound of the hair dryer was gone and all lights and air con off. I had to wait and luckily it was not long. But even those few minutes of waiting was pathetic. Because the Salon was packed, the place turned warm easily. But that's okay, cause I always long for the day where my hair would obey me and I waited patiently for that. Well, having electricity cut off is very common here. Thats why our city's has been given a title of 'Sandakan Nature City.'

Ah ah! But that Nature City title doesn't mean we live on trees like most people do think or that we don't have internet connection like how Sj once asked me I remembered.

I have been catching on the 'Greatest American Dog' since last week. It's really a great show and Jean's right. Everytime she watches the show, she wants a dog and everytime I watch the show, I want to train my dog well. I even want to bring my dog with me when I go back to Singapore for my studies. But that's impossible. How could I bring a pet into the hostel and if I'm allowed to do so, my dog would be so bored cause I don't stay inside the hostel all day long. Jogging at the park at times over there really dont make me feel at home. Cause when I saw the other owners with their dogs at the park, I realised that my dog isn't with me.

Loaded

My table's a mess. I have been loaded with tremendous amount of papers needed to sit for the theory examination. And yet, my stress is only up on the night before my theory classes the next day because I would then spend the whole afternoon and night finishing those exercise given. I know this is so 'last minute' work and I should be more productive. But I really couldn't put aside entertainments surrounding me. Because having a school break is what my mindset is.

I couldn't care less bout it because I'll be so doomed if I don't do well. I'd to make sure I get enough time stuffing everything inside my brain. I know I need to manoeuvre to get good grades for the paper. There's no easy way out. The process is paramount to lead to the outcome. And I have been using the mahjong table as a choice of my study table. It has been out since chinese new year and i refuse to let my mum put the table back into the store room simply because it gives me motivation to finish my theory exercises. I would seldom choose to study in my room nor in my study room, therefore making my study table practically useless. But it's okay, cause I have my A level books and papers piling up on the study table in my room and the computer in my study room so that those two tables doesn't seem that useless. ;D

By the way people, I've to do some advertisement here. Haha. Visit this! Click on it!

sandakan-fishing-lodging.blogspot.com

In case you have any intentions to visit Sandakan, a.k.a nature city in Sabah, Malaysia, do consider bout it! For the lodging, it would be a fully nature kind of spot, around 16 miles from the town. But of course, the house standing would be air-conditioned! There are teakwood plantations, mahogany trees and also some local fruit trees which you could enjoy the fruit fresh from the tree. There are also a few ponds where fish-lovers could go for fishing or row a boat.

As for deep sea fishing, daddy is offering his boat for charter. He'll be navigating thoughout the whole Sulu Sea for fishing. Besides fishing, the boat is also available for charter if you want to visit turtle islands. Daddy have brought us on a few fishing trips too. Oh, and there's also a chance that you could see a school of dolphins if you have luck.
There are a few pictures of my brother's fishing trip in the link.

Got it, finally

After around 2 and a half years of annoyance and worrying, the driving license has reached my hands earlier this month. I thought of it and remembered that I have actually separated the entire process of getting the license into three parts. Took the driving law when I was still in sec school, and because of the exam, stopped, delaying the 'bengkel' part of the process till the three weeks of break I had last year. Had to spend that pathetic 6 hours listening to the lecture of the law and 4 hours learning how to change car tyres and stuff. I'm good enough to put up with all those stuff, eyelids are so heavy then, could barely lift them up. And so, I drew something to entertain myself to keep myself from getting caught faling asleep.

And finally, thanks to RP for this long break that I could finally complete the rest of the process. Went for around 9 hours of driving lesson and Edna's been so nice, asking me not to give my driving instructor a shock of her lifetime. Everything went well, but I really couldn't beat my jitters. I failed my parking and when I was driving out on the route, a herd of cows rushed out and crossed the road. Was I lucky or something, so many times I had practised the route and I haven't got to face anything like that. It had to be on the day I take my driving test, braked suddenly and at the corner of my eyes, saw the examiner scribbling something. But I just got my marks deducted and it's still above the failing point. I passed but had to repeat the parking section. Everything's perfect the second time and I finally got my license. (That was what I was looking for, if not I'll be the one who get the shock of my lifetime!)

I'm still practising on my driving these few weeks with my dad beside, teaching me what to do, I'm still a rookie after all. He's worried on letting me drive alone. Only now I realised there's a lot of lunatics on the road, be it drivers or pedestrians, making it a hard time for me! Oh well, maybe I'm one of them also, I don't deny it.

Talked to Edwin online. Pls, his replies are more annoying!

But at least that monkey said my drawing has improved! haha

And I think his drawings worsen. That 'Siao Zha BOR' definitely does not look anything like me at all!

To have tried things out

Had last seen Edna through the webcam online earlier on the hols. And once again, talked rubbish as we always do. But those rubbish made my stomach cramps because of unlimited laughters. That's because she can even watch tv and webcam simultaneously which is something that I can never do. Alright, multi-tasking isn't my best part i should say. tsk tsk!

I have also never show my feet online neither would I want to show my feet online. But see, this girl has a way to move me! I showed her my feet because she wanted to see the pattern of my padicure. I thought it would be very very funny to show my feet online and she said it's fun! How cute is that.

It has been almost two months since I was back in my hometown. And Edna has been tempting me to sneak back to Singapore to join the fun of shopping in the hols. Haha. How I wish to if I have a way to sneak back. Hometown is fun but sometimes, things would not be the same if you have too much of it. Seriously, the hols is just too long for me. Plus, the thought of having tons of things to pack and clean once I have stepped into the hostel made me wonder if I have another way to do it. The dust must have accumulated an inch thick since I have left for so long. Just the thought of it is so sickening.

Back here in my hometown, food and clean clothes just come to me. And so, I shall appreciate it while I'm still here. It's another way round over there, I go to the food and clean clothes, not they come to me. I can never be in the kitchen more than half an hour. Parents would ask me to help in the kitchen once in a blue moon cause I have to learn to get food done, but once it's about to reach 10 minutes, they would chase me out or if not, I would be standing there watching. It would be a vain effort to help out in the kitchen.

I have been on a movie marathon too! I came back to see tons of series and movies stacking on the coffee table of my living room. That's when I catch one after another. Ya know, gripping the chance while I can here. Sometimes, mom and dad join in the fun too! And there's one series which my brother brought back that kept me addicted. I have also managed to watch '10 promises to my dog' together with the I.S-ers on the night at Melinsung. It's a great midnight movie. I can't help holding my tears back, it reminds me of how dogs would finally end up and how a dog of mine ended up being so similar to it. Things happen and pass by but memories would always be stored inside forever.

Rendezvous

Had been having a few rendezvous with friends over the holidays. I had to say it's the happy-go-lucky air of an unfettered girl having holidays. haha.
Managed to catch bride wars with Sharon and Vicky at the cinema too. I love the movie and was looking forward to watch the movie before that cause Anne Hathaway is acting in it! And finally, I think the cinema here heard my wish and the movie was out. Haha. The movie was indeed a blast heh.

Michele was having summer holiday and was back from Aussie, Crystal was back here too having holidays. We went out and had a drink at D'venice. We also had long talks on what happened back then during the school days. It's really reminiscing eh.

Also, I went over to KK a week before Beng's birhtday to meet up with the I.S S1Cs to give Beng an early birhtday surprise because they have just finished their progress test for the semester. They wanted a surprise for Beng so they didn't tell her that I was going over to celebrate her birthday together. We went to the Melinsung Summer Bay and stayed there for a night since Angie and Vincent has a holiday apartment there and Vincent's is just right above Angie's apartment. Isn't the world a small one. Beng was so touched that she cried almost three times: once when we drove her to Melinsung, once when we present her a birthday cake at night after barbeque, once the next day when we brought her to the zoo (she didn't know it all. ) haha
Beng and me

Angie, me and her sis Adeline

Does this pic looks like some kind of advertisement to boost the sales of flip flops or what. ;)

On our attempt to form a star in the sand;)

On our attempt to bury Beng's legs in the sand. ;;)

On our attempt to throw the birthday girl into the sea ;;;)

On our attempt with the firecrackers. ;;;;)

And finally, on our attempt to make Beng touched with the mini birthday cake. (it's self-baked bread actually) ;;;;;)

Went over to the Lok Kawi Wildlife Park the next day after all the packing and the cleaning up. You don't want to hear me whine about how adorable those mammals are, how irritating those reptiles are and how hot and humid that day was at the park and I didn't want to upload all those pictures of the animals cause there are plenty of them. But overall, thumbs up! I didn't expect there stand a wildlife park either.

Last week was Khar Wei's birthday and she held a barbeque party at her place. Jean drove me there and we kept ourselves busy telling stories to keep ourselves updated while enjoying the food. :)

Khar Wei and her boy, Esther, me and Jean.

Will be blogging soon (if I don't get lazy):D
