mooncake festival

it's mooncake festival today!!!...

it has all along been one of my best festivals of the year. hmm..what do i say..maybe it's because of the gaiety that the festival brings: mooncake, dinner at grandpa's house, lanterns (it brings back my past memories), our tradition at grandpa's house, cousins, dogs...

but this year's mooncake festival passed just like that without any celebrations like back in my hometown..it's just like any other normal days..hope i'll be lucky enough to celebrate it back in my hometown next year!



weekend's always the same.. sian..have to get my weekends occupied!!! but at least there's some variation this week..i went to the gospel rally by rev stephen tong at the kallang indoor stadium on saturday night.. it's a bit crowded but still fine cause it's a very large place. guess what, rev stephen tong is in his 70s already! but nevertheless, he's still full of energy..going to every destination preaching the word of God. he caught up with his flight to Jakarta, Indonesia right after the sermon and that he will be back to Singapore for the gospel rally tomorrow afternoon again. what a blessing!

hmm...just happy go lucky everyday? not possible i think..we were all born to work..so just get on and continue working in life. just look on it from the positive side, life is actually meaningful and i'm sure there's actually things that are worth doing and remembered in life. but so, dont be too indulged in it, you have to know what is your purpose in life.
